A Southern Chapter
of CAGE was established
in 2006 and currently
has approximately 25
active members representing
nine geotechnical firms.
Current
officers are:

The
group meets on a quarterly
basis. Meetings typically
involve the discussion
of an issue of common interest.
However, the meetings occasionally
include a more formal program
such as a recent presentation
by the City and County
to review new asphalt pavement
specifications in the Colorado
Springs area. The
Southern Chapter of CAGE
recently co-chaired a joint
City and County Task Force
on utility trench backfill
procedures.
