CAGE currently has two
general committees under
which several subcommittees
function to address the
issues facing the organization
at any given time. These
committees consist of the
Professional Practices
Committee and the Governmental
Affairs Committee.
Professional Practices
Committee
The Professional Practices
Committee serves the organization
and community to address
technical issues that face
our members in their practices
on an ongoing basis. Subcommittees
are formed to address technical
issues as the need arises,
based upon the interest
shown in an issue by the
membership. This committee
has also been responsible
for the preparation of
the documents available
in our Publications
section of this site.

Governmental Affairs
Committee
The Governmental Affairs
Committee serves the organization
and community to serve
as a liason between our
members and the various
governmental jurisdictions
in which we practice. In
addition, it serves as
a resource for geotechnical
information, guidance,
and advice to these agencies.
