CAGE is currently made
up of over 120 individuals
from throughout Colorado,
as well as one member
from Utah and one from
Arizona. Membership in
the organization is attained
by application, after
which time a person may
be admitted to the organization
only upon review and approval
by a majority vote of
the Board of Directors.
Membership in CAGE may
be held by individuals
only, and consists of
four membership grades:
A
Professional Member
is a professional engineer
licensed by the State
of Colorado and actively
practicing, teaching,
or conducting research
in the field of geotechnical
engineering.
Affiliate
Member
(non-voting member)
An
Affiliate Member is
a non-licensed geotechnical
professional providing
services or training
in the field of geotechnical
engineering. Affiliate
members may include
engineering geologists,
staff engineers, and
engineering technicians.
Associate
Member
(non-voting member)
An
Associate Member is
an individual interested
in the organization,
but not falling under
the designation of Professional
Member or Affiliate
Member. Associate members
may include non-geotechnical
engineers, geologists,
suppliers to the industry,
municipal officials,
etc.
Fellow
(voting member)
The
membership level of
Fellow is an honor bestowed
upon Professional Members
of the organization
who have performed significant
service to the profession.
Fellows are chosen by
the membership.
